Stop complaining and do something about your situation. Also, you must get total control of your pipeline and revenue generating activities.



  1. Not following your own long term plan.

Failing to plan, is planning to fail. If you don’t have a long term plan for your business, you are likely to be taken for a joy ride in the wind. Similar to back in the day trying to sail your ship without knowing where you're going or utilizing the north star to track your direction. It is stupid to be in business without a long term plan. Whatever it may be, whether it's taking it to $1m, $10m, exiting the business, or running it more efficiently and profitably... you must be clear on end goal. What are you trying to achieve?



  1. Becoming ungrateful.

This is the most underrated and overlooked, but very crucial. As you progress in business, it is very natural to attach your happiness to the progress you are making as a company. In the initial phase, you will turn tides, the progress will be visible and massive, but as you mature and start chipping away at the long term vision, gratification will need to be delayed over a long period of time, and if you find yourself unable be grateful for what you have accomplished and live in the now, over that long stretch of time, you won't last much longer to see the BIG long term vision come to fruition, and experience the compounding results.
